Terms of Service

Who these terms cover

These terms govern your use of Zylt Momentum (the “Service”), operated by Zylt.AI as part of the Wentzel.ai platform. By using the Service you agree to these terms, our Privacy & Cookies notice, and the security commitments on our Trust & Security page. Zylt is in limited early access: accounts are provisioned after an early-access request, and a school or organisation that deploys Zylt for its learners also signs a separate agreement that takes precedence over these terms wherever the two differ.

Who can use Zylt: age and COPPA

Self-serve accounts are for ages 13 and up. You must be at least 13 years old to request or hold your own Zylt account. Zylt is not COPPA-certified, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through self-serve sign-up.

Under-13 learners are supported only through a school or parent agreement. A school, district, or other organisation may enrol learners under 13 under a written agreement with Zylt in which the school consents on the parent’s behalf for educational use, or a parent or guardian may enter a direct agreement with Zylt for their child. In either case that agreement, not this page, governs what information is collected and how it is used. If we learn that a self-serve account belongs to a child under 13 without such an agreement, we close the account and delete the personal information associated with it.

Student records: FERPA

When a school or district uses Zylt for its learners, Zylt acts as a school officialwith a legitimate educational interest under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA): we perform functions the school would otherwise carry out itself and remain under the school’s direct control for the use and maintenance of education records. We use education records (such as a learner’s name, email, course progress, scores, and certificates) only to provide the Service to that school, we do not sell or redisclose them except as the school directs or the law requires, and we return or delete them at the school’s direction when the agreement ends.

Records requests go through support. A school, parent, or eligible student who wants to inspect, correct, export, or delete education records should open a request through Support. There is no self-serve records export or deletion API; requests are verified and handled by the Zylt team together with the school. Security incidents can be reported through the contact on the Trust & Security page.

Acceptable use

Use the Service only for lawful educational and business purposes. Do not upload content that is unlawful, harassing, or inappropriate for a teen audience; do not share login credentials; and do not attempt to access other tenants’ data or circumvent the Service’s security controls. Learner-generated content is scanned for personal information and moderated, and we may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

AI-generated content

Course material, quotes, summaries, social-media drafts, and other content the Service generates are produced by large language models and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Review AI output before you rely on it or publish it. The Service is not a source of legal, medical, or financial advice.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes are posted on this page with a new “last updated” date before they take effect, and schools under a signed agreement are notified directly. Questions about these terms go through Support.
